Hi to all, i am having trouble with the messenger,whenever i try to write to one of my contacts the messenger closes...this is driving me round the bend...anyone have any suggestions please

Just thought i would let you all know that i have solved the problem of my messenger live   crashing...the reason was i still had the original version of messenger still on trhe computer nd i was told that the two of them clash and the messenger live wont work properly all the time it is still on there...so i deleted  the old version and hey presto windows live is fine....   hope this helps anyone else with the same problems...
