Whenever the song changes msn freezes, itunes is fine. Msn locks up for 10-20 seconds and then returns to normal with the song changed.

• Running vista ultimate x64 sp1
  
  
• .net framework 3.5 sp1
  
  
• Msn Version 9 beta. (problem occured on msn 8.5 as well)
  
  
• Messenger Plus version 4.70.0.334 (assumed to be latest, downloaded off website several weeks ago.)

Any advice would be helpful - i assume its a wait command in the coding somewhere, or itunes+/itunes itself taking too long. Perhaps run in different thread if possible. Just ideas.

However he hasn't been active for a while.

Other than that I'm not really sure, it's an odd bug, you might want to try the script Music Now Playing.

Yeah, thats the script i'm refering to, or its similar, because i just installed it to the same result. Msn locks up for 10-20 seconds when i change song.

i have the same bug... and i have a new code to install into itunes+:
code info:
install song info + statusmessege

Do I apply this, or does it have to be incorporated into the plugin?

The problem is: the DLL library that creates the new display picture with info about the song is very slow. Therefore you may want to associate an image with the song (artwork), or disable the "Set my display picture to the current artwork" option.
