mess patch light was updated... so maybe there is a way to edit uifiles finally... let's wait for patch to announce... remember he is in direct talk with WLM dev team...

if MS want to stop skinning doing the CL bg feature and that protection to avoid uifiles modification this will be a huge hit for MP!L... I don't think patch will allow that to happen...

Me and duck noted this, but why are the sharing folders gone to make way for skydriver?
I think the sharing folders was a much better idea. oh well.

So, I feel dumb for asking this. But on the main screen where your contacts are I used to be able to see people's e-mail address as well as their contact name and personal message and I cannot remember how to turn this back on. Any help with this would be awesome.

Interesting post, thanks for sharing.

I really hope Patchou can get skinning going on WLM9, would be a waste if the limitations of the new interface render skins basically unusable after only such a short time of having them.

Just tried to install it on WindowsXP 64bit.. no can do ..

lol, why is everybody so alarmist?

I spent the last 7 years updating Plus! to make it work on newer versions of Messenger and onething I learnt is that there's always a way, you just have to spend some time on the probem.

Right now I'm having fun adding multiple-location data into Plus!, I'll check the skins out later. There's really no need to panic though
