Hey guys,

I have a windows XP french on my computer, but everything else (msn live, msgplus) is installed in english. I set up my chat logging by month, so it creates a new folder every month.

Everything was working fine, as in my folders were created in english (August, Semptember...), until I recently upgrade msgplus, and the folders are now created in french (septembre).

The reason why I need it consistent (always in english) is because I sync my chat log between my computer at home and at work. The msgplus work creates english folders, the msgplus home creates french ones, and now I get 2 different folder by contact for each month.

Is there a way to specify what folder/language to use?

Did you accidentally install the new messenger plus with french language (as that is the default on your computer)

to check, open up Messenger Preferences and it is on the first page.

Try setting the language to English and then it should name the folders correctly

Check your Regional options in control panel.
Make sure Formats is set to English.
