I have just installed Windows Live Messenger Beta..everything seems ok except my contact list is missing. I notice that my contact list is still in Hotmail but does not appear in Messenger. How can I resolve this please?

Personally i would try re installing Windows Live Messenger but there may be a better way so i would wait until one of the other members replies.

thanks..I thought of doing..even msn suggest that in the event of problems with 'beta' version uninstall beta and install the lasted 'released' version instead. However, I cannot see how to uninstall it..there is no facility for doing that and when I go to  'uninstall programs' the messenger beta programme is not listed!!

Anyone else have any ideas please?

Excuse my stupidity, but will it not just be listed as Windows Live Messenger in un-install programs even though it's the beta?

If I uninstall and then install latest released version, will I get my messenger contact list back?..at least I still have it in my mail account...I dont want to risk losing it altogether..
