Is it possible to hide the title bar in the convo and main windows in MSN 9, like MSNs 7-8.5? It wastes a lot of screen space ...

And if not could a future release of MSN Plus! include this feature?

Yes, it is possible

Click the tools button on the window (either contact list or chat window) and deselect "Show the menu bar"

Are you on windows vista?

In which case the aero effect can only be disabled by applying a shaped skin.

I am looking into adding this feature to my skin, as I too prefer the old design.

At the moment you have a few options:

a) Disable Aero on the whole system
b) Look into skinning and to create a minimally shaped skin
c) Put up with it
