Okay, I know. Uninstall Smiley Central. Uninstall SweetIM.
I don't have either one. I've checked and double checked just to make sure. I even SEARCHED for them. Nothing showed up.

I uninstalled the latest version of Windows Live Messenger Plus. I uninstalled Windows Live Messenger 8.5. I deleted all of the related program files. I restarted.

I then reinstalled both programs, only to have Plus short out on me AGAIN. So I went to Add and Remove and simply repaired it. It worked for a while, but when I signed onto WLM again.. Well, Plus had disappeared.

I tried using an older version of Plus, but that didn't work either. I don't know what to do, I'm practically ripping my hair out.

Can someone help me?!

P.S I have read every damn thread there is on this, believe me. Nothing comes close to solving it.

Do you have GDI++ as this can also interfere with messenger plus

They need to fix this. ;-;

by the way, the machine where this happens is part of a Domain ( AD ).

I have 3 other computers working with plus, but none on a domain.

All other previous versions worked without problems.
