Well I'm cleaning out my PC and so far:

- Startup items [done]
- CCleaner [done]
- Defragment [in progress]
- Removing stuff I don't need [90%;HijackThis]

Now could any of you older people tell me what to remove from here?

Pasting all of that into http://www.hijackthis.de/ and looking at myself.

Only thing I see is "O23 - Service: AST Service (astcc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\AstSrv.exe (file missing)"

File is Missing afterall...so remove it

I will be doing a similar thing this coming weekend. Reinstalling Vista + Win7 Dual Boot...to celebrate the new year my resolution = Non Crappy Messy Disorganized machine

It's a Windows Shell, nothing to worry about considering he's using it

Yeah Sam I tried removing that, but when I do a rescan it pops up again..

It seems (according to google) that AST Service is http://www.castlecops.com/o23list-3048.html
