I CAN'T SEE THE POP UP THAT TELLS ME PEOPLE HAVE ADDED ME!

hi, can someone please help me.
why can't i see who has added me? As in the pop up telling me that someone has requested to be my friend does not show when i sign in to msn ! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
