O.P. someone writing a message toaster
Hi.
I came up with a pretty handy script idea(if this hasn't been made yet)
If someone can make a script as displays "contact nickname" is writing a message. when a contact writes to you, in pop-up toaster
Someone more as like this idea?

RE: someone writing a message toaster
Thanks for your suggestion. It's already been requested here and something similar here.
CookieRevised made the script to do exactly that, which you can download here.

RE: someone writing a message toaster
I just wanna know why that code is displaying very rare chars in toast...
code: [ Andrew ] 웃ღ웃 << 2009 sera mejor... >>
seems like toast aren't supporting UNICODE text...
btw will be better if instead of write a string like "is typing..." it should use the string inserted in WLM in that way it will show it in the language properly...

O.P. RE: someone writing a message toaster
This scripts did not work on msn beta 9 and I think they won't do that on the final version to when msg plus is released to it.
Someone as know a working typing toaster script to the new msn versions?

As you know, Plus! will be updated for the latest WLM 2009 today/tomorrow, so nobody has attempted to make scripts for it yet.

RE: someone writing a message toaster
The script will work with MSN 9.0 Final and all BETAS and RCs as soon as the next Plus! is released within the next 10 hours.
The script does require Xniff, which catches incoming packets, but does not work 100% on all systems (most common problems boil down to wireless connections not working properly with it)

hey guys... I think you are talking about something that doesn't have to do with... this script is working great with WLM 2009 and the private beta of MP!L... the problem is not about incompatibility thing... I think is because a problem with unicode text inside its develpment itself... I haven't seen coockie in awhile but I know if he read this he will appear with a fixed .plsc trust me..

RE: someone writing a message toaster
He knows about the issue IIRC. I was just putting IA015 straight about it not working under 9.0.
It might not be very easy to get the string from the language dlls or support unicode. Although it was never released and was merely an improvement on other people's codes that weren't really upto scratch. Consider it a tutorial in scripting using Xniff
