I've a problem with the new version of Msgplus (build 353 - http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=88265&page=1)...

When i install it, i click on WLM icon, and it appears on the windows bar (not the application just the icon near antivirus, firewall, etc), but when i move the mouse on the icon, it just disappears (crash).

How could i solve it?


My WLM version is: 2009 14.0.8050.1202

Computer details:

OS: Windows XP (service pack 3)
Ram: 2GB
Intel Core Duo CPU 2.40Ghz
GeForce 8600

Do you have a clean installation of Messenger 2009? no patch installed? You could try reinstall Messenger just to be sure.

If that's not enough to fix the problem, please, it would really help me if you could email me the following at mplus-support@patchou.com :
  * An export of the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou"
  * A zip of the "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live" directory

Thsi goes to anybody who gets crashes in Messenger 2009 after installing the new Plus!. Thanks in advance .

Thx for your help and your whole work. You made WLM a better program.

It's also very important to disactivate and remove or update (here) the skin "Avalon Concept 2009" BEFORE updating Messenger Plus! Live otherwise WLM will crash on startup.

Guéna
