Hi All,

I downloaded the new version 14.0 but now I can't find my shared folders - where would I find those now??

Sharing Folders has been removed from Messenger now. Instead it is using Windows Live SkyDrive.

so where did all the pictures go and how do I get Windows Live SkyDrive?  Is it the same thing or does everyone on my contact list see the pictures?

Erm …The pictures are not gone, they are stored in a hidden location on your computer. Sadly, I have not discovered the location of the Sharing Folders yet.

SkyDrive can be acessed from http://skydrive.live.com, you can create folders in there and set permissions for who can view what folders.

A Simple search of these forums under the words "Sharing Folders location" seems to bring up a number of results. One of which says that it is listed under "C:\Documents and Settings\<WINDOWS ACCOUNT USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger\<messenger address>\SharingMetadata"
