O.P.  Is WLM 2009 final?
According to Wiki it says: "On January 7, 2009, the same build was released as the final version of Windows Live Messenger 2009"

If so, where can I download it from? Also I read in this site that Plus! for WLM 2009 is still beta, so is it worth upgrading from build 8.5 or not yet?

Yes it is final. Also, Plus! is beta yes but Plus! 4.80 is expected to be released very soon according to patchou's words. |

Thanks everyone. I have a couple of questions before upgrading to WLM 2009:
1) I currently have WLM2008 build 8.5.1302.1018 installed. Should I first uninstall it or can I install WLM2009 over 2008?
2) Will I lose custom nicknames, chat history, and other settings?
3) If I export Plus Live! settings (v4.70.0.334), will I be able to import them into Plus Live! Beta for WLM2009?

1) No need to uninstall 8.5 first.
2) No, chat history is kept in a certain folder.
3) Yes.
4) I suggest you wait for Plus! 4.80 so as not to update plus! many times.
