Windows Live Messenger 2009 was released a while ago, we already know what's new in that. But the new build (14.0.8064.0206) discussed in this thread isn't even 24 hours old yet. It contains bugfixes compared with the 14.0.8050.1202 build. People are just wondering what fixes exactly.

Owch, in that case, I didn't even know about the update in the build lol...

The latest version of Messenger 2009 has broken everything Messenger Plus-wise for me.

I now have no access to Messenger Plus from the GUI or the menu bar. The buttons and menu entry for Plus have just disapperared!

An uninstall/reinstall of everything didn't fix it so unless I can find a way to download the previous version of Messenger Live! I'm stuck with no Messenger Plus or scripts

Win7, Messenger 2009 build 8064.206, Messenger Plus 479b

Thanks for the link Moh. I just found an MSI of the previous version of Messenger 2009 and Plus works again.

Now I'll upgrade and try the Plus version you pointed me to.

This update release merely fix the compatibility issues with Windows 7, and some minor bug fixes. Nothing much.

It's optional, unless you're beta-testing Windows 7, and would like to use Windows Live Messenger 2009 properly.

Whether build 14.0.8064.0206 or 1202, it still works with WLMP! 4.80.
