O.P.  No script button on chatbox?
I have the most recent Messenger and Messenger Plus
In a chat window there is no button to use scripts but I have Plus installed and can click on the plus! dropdown menu in toolbar at top.
How can I run scripts? |

There is an icon for scripts in the main contact list below the Plus! icon and next to "Add a new contact" or just have a look at the picture to see where it is placed in a chat window.

Open Messenger Plus! Live preferences then click the 'Conversation' tab, ensure that "Add Messenger Plus! buttons in the toolbar" is ticked

It is definitely ticked.
I unticked it then closed and opened msn but it was not there still, then ticked it again, with no luck.
Any other suggestions?

Do you use a certain skin? Have you tried re-installing/repairing Plus! through Add/Remove Programs?

It is most likely patched using A-Patch or MessPatch, which will stop MP!L placing it's buttons correctly. Do a clean install and try again... <Eljay> "Problems encountered: shit blew up"  |

What makes you so sure? I dont think all skins change the "look" of WLM, Do they? Also, I dont think he is using A-patch as the ad link still exists as shown in the screenshot. And at Tim, I noticed you dont even have any of the Plus! buttons in the coversation window.

The only things I have installed is Windows Live Messenger, Plus! and a few scripts. No skins or anything.
I just tried doing a full uninstall and reinstall of Plus! but that hasn't worked.
Perhaps I should do a full reinstall of Windows Live Messenger and try again? Thing is, I don't know how to uninstall Windows Live Messenger because it's not in Add/Remove programs list.

Use ZapMessenger to totally delete WLM and it's traces and then re-install Windows Live Messenger. |
