Anyone know how to set the default size for the DP in the conversation window?

It can now be set to small or large manually, but then if a new conversation window is opened, it goes back to its default size which is the larger DP. I was wondering if there is anyway to set the default size to small.

Unfortunately this cannot be done straightforwardly in messenger

It can be done with Messenger Plus! Live skinning, however.
