good evening.

i started to learn skinning a few days ago, and did a lot researches to find out, how i could change my contact list in a way, so that the contact name and the nickname (by me) are displayed. (i. e. <Nickname> - <Contact Name> - <Status>). can anybody answer this question? i didn't found a property named like "nickname" yet.

You can't do that via skinning, maybe with a script, but I'm not really sure.

in the scripting manual i could find a property for contacts named "Name" but the description says this is _not_ the nickname. i can retrieve all informations about contacts - even unimportant - but it seems that nicknames can't be used in any way...

Unfortunatly you can't, not with skinning and not with scripting.

Biggest reason being that Messenger Plus! does not have access to the 'nicknames' which can be set in WLM.
