Can someone help?

I have been using msn 2008 with my cam and had no problems.

Yesterday I upgraded to msn 2009 and my cam won't work. I have spent many hours googling and all I keep seeing is the Mcafee conflict relating to Site Adviser. I don't have site adviser installed so am unsure why the cam won't work.

I have uninstalled several times and gone back to 2008 but the cam still won't work.

It works fine on Yahoo, so I know it is an msn issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does your camera show up in the audio/video setup on WLM 2009?

Have you tried installing the latest drivers/software for it from the manufacturer's website?

yes, the driver is up to date...

and yes, I can see it in the audio/vid set up in msn.

What happens when you try to use it with a contact?

Which version of WLM is the contact using?

Your conversation cannot begin because your camera is currently in use or not plugged in. Make sure your camera is available and try again.

That is the message I get if I turn the cam on.

And I am not sure of the version of msn my friends are using...does it matter? My cam worked fine before I upgraded to 2009 msn. But even after I have removed 2009 and reinstalled 2008 the cam won't work.
