It still shows a notifier saying: "You are now signed in to 2 places...." So, in all cases you are still notified. Moreover, the status in the main contact list is shown as: "Available: 2 places" and in the conversation windows: "This conversation can be seen at more than one place".

Mnjul thanks for the reply.
I still use 8.5, because i dont like the new version.
Ive searched for this multiple locations thing in messenger 2009 and i think its bad because now people can log in into your account without you sign off? Theres at least something that says that are more accounts of you on? Or you can turn this off?
for example since i still have 8.5 it wont say im on multiple machines or something?

As I have said, you are still notified. For version 2009, you can also choose the option "Sign me out of all other places when I sign in to Messenger" so that you can be signed in to only one place at a time.
