O.P. All contacts shown as offline
So for the last few days my Windows Live Messenger (The newest version, as if it'd let me have anything earlier :@) has decided to show ALL of my contacts as offline all the time. I know that at least ONE of them would have been online in the last three days, and there's also the fact that on the first day it just showed them as offline, the second day it showed them as offline and wouldn't show their display pics, and now today it's showing them as offline, no display pics, AND no display name, simply the email address.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times but to no avail.
Can anybody help me out with this? :S

Try deleting these temporary files, especially the Contacts ones.

Note: You will have to go to Tools > Folder Options > Show hidden files and folders .. to view some of the files.

If the folder doesn't exist, even after showing hidden files and folders, move onto the next one.

Depending on which version of Windows you're using, delete the following..

Obviously replace your_username with your Windows username
