Anything below FAT32 will certainly not work as shawnz said. FAT16 is limited to 2GB per volume, he wants a 4GB volume.

such a shame you can't take pictures yet.......my sis had a similar tihng with hers.......is one of two things:

a) fake card
b) dodgy formatting

keep trying b).......and if not, then it's a)

I'm going to say something different , make sure your sd card reader is sdhc compliant as the same thing happened to me aegis ago, I bought a new reader and it all worked fine

hm, seems a good idea, the card reader im using atm has options for exFAT etc so im guessing its fairly new, the other one i tried to format it on after reading your post didnt even let me do ntfs!

I am 117% sure your card is a fake. Where did you buy it from..?

FAT has a 2GB max and FAT32 is 8TB I think.. cbf checking.

yeah thats what happened to me no matter wat the card only had < 2gb of usable space, u shouldn't be able to format an sd card into ntfs, at least i have never been able to, fat23 would do fine, what sort of card reader are you using(i got the internal one whats the other 1)?
