Every once in a while, my contacts are unable to see my message sent during a conversation with them. Somehow the message gets "lost" during transmission. It does show up in my chat log however, but my contacts does not see it. Is this a rare bug I have encountered?

I'm behind a linksys router.

Try opening the ports for Messenger.

no, tabbed chatting won't affect your contacts receiving messages

are your contacts on a stable connection, or are they using webmessengers?
