hi i am still using 8.5 will we be forced to update to 9?is there a patch to stop it being forced update?

There is no patch for that but if you want to stay on 8.5 just because of its look, you can get back most of it on version 2009 by installing a skin

In fact, one can edit messenger's files to make it's version number be "updated", that will fool the force update =)
