I have installed Messenger Plus but after it's installed I can't find it.  It's in the add/remove program list so it's on my computer, but it's nowhere to be found to open it up.

thanks--I can find it there but don't know how to get the icon on my desktop or open it up.  I'm not a new user.  Just had computer work done and am trying to reinstall.  It's there but I can't get it to open up.

I do not understand what you have a problem ... if you can not run MSN, then remove it and install again ...

Is msnmsgr.exe missing from the folder? What stops you from just opening it?

yes, it seems to be missing.

I have opened the folder and it's not there. I have lame_enc.dll, log viewer, MsgPlusLive.dll, MsgPlusLoader.dll, detoured.dll, events style sheet, libsndfile.dll, MPScripts.dll, MPTools, MsgPlusLiveRes.dll, and uninstall.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and rebooted the computer several times.  The icon is not anywhere that I can see.

you don't run Messenger Plus Live as a seperate program, it launches as part of Windows Live Messenger

Start>All Programs>Windows Live>Windows Live Messenger

Run that and you should see the changes that Messenger Plus! Live gives you, coloured names, etc
