So I had originally patched MSN with messpatch,(using 8.5) to move buttons around and get a cooler looking setup etc but figured that might be interfereing with the msg plus skinning. Uninstalled everything, started over, just 9.0 instead and msg plus. I can apply skins but when messenger restarts it still looks the same. Ideally I'd like to be able to use both messpatch and msg plus, but I'll settle for just msg plus at this point.
