Okay I downloaded and installed the latest version of WLM. It worked fine for a few days then all of a sudden I logged in and about half of my contacts just disappeared before my eyes. When I go to "edit contacts" they are all there. What the hell is going on? and how do I fix this extremely frustrating issue. Please help!!!!

It could just be a server error or some other temporary problem.

Remove it from Add/Remove Programs, then download and install it again.

In Hotmail you can sign into Messenger, then go to View Messenger Contacts to check if they've been deleted, or that you just can't view them in Messenger for some reason.

If they are still there when you go to "edit contacts," maybe WLM is hiding your offline contacts? Go into the options screen, click Layout on the left, and make sure "Show offline contacts" is checked.
