When I log in WLM2009 I keep getting a message as shown below:


However, when I click on it the Hotmail website opens up showing that I have no invitations at all as shown below:


Is this a bug? How can I get rid of this message? Thanks

I searched a bit and this seems to be some sort of a bug. Only workaround I know of is using a skin that can disable showing that message like Zero-G. Anyway, Are you using the very latest version of Windows Live Messenger (Build 14.0.8089.726)?

Oops, I didn't know that WLM was updated, I'm still using WLM 2009 Build 14.0.8064.206 . I will update to Build 14.0.8089.726 and see if the issue is still around. Will post the results. Thanks.
(What are the release notes for this latest build?)

UPDATE: I updated to the latest WLM 2009 build but the bug is still present

I know, been having that very same problem in my secondary Live Id for some years by now...

Years?? Wow...maybe the only solution then might be replacing the Id by a new one...or maybe "downgrading" back to v8.5

The solution is waiting until the server recognizes you have no invites =P
In my main account, its almost instant, but in that secondary one...
Just accepted that and manually removed that thingy with skins, as already suggested.

What do you mean by "main" and "secondary"?. For the server all accounts are the same and should behave in the same manner

Not server side.
My main account is the one I use the most, while my secondary account is the second most used =P

Yeah i also got this problem. It doesnt go away...
Best thing to do is wait?
