coloured names (I always have to make my name coloured in some way) chat logs (good for telling others about random convos I have) and emoticon sounds

chatlogging (used it since 1.42b :P), tabbed chats, various /commands, scripts, and the feature that allows you to choose arbitrary color for your message font.

I just never bothered converting to Plus!'s Chat Logs...because people didn't want a feature like that to be added...and I like having commonality.
