What are those and how do I install them?

Windows Styles or mssytles are ur visual theme. to install non microsoft created styles you will need a modded uxtheme (like the one u posted earlier) find the one you want (make sure its for ur OS) and download it. If its in a .rar or zip extract to Drive\Windows\Resources\Theme. if you cant extract to the location extract it to somewhere else and copy and paste into the folder. To use it XP: right click desktop > properties > Appearance > Windows and buttons. Vista: right click > personalize > Window Color and Appearance > Classic Menu > and select the visual theme. For Vista i would recommend the uxtheme patcher VistaGlazz

I already got that Ux Theme Multi Patcher for my OS and downloaded some Visual Themes from deviantart.. But it happens a lot that themes are downloaded in a format that I cant open (then it shows the icon of Adobe Reader 6, with WinStyles it's the same)..

whats the format of the msstyles? what is the ones u downloaded?

for that u need multiple things. read the desc.

You need this by the looks, but I'd just stick to normal msstyles[?].

Yeah, well, another question: Why can't I download any Aero theme on deviantart? (I'm using windows xp and ux theme multi patcher)

If its a Vista theme u cant. So make sure what OS it needs.
