Hi all,

I had a chat log open...and then the person who's log  that was open messaged me..all of a sudden when i clicked back to the log it told me that access was denied to the chat log. I clicked the month of August and then back to September, it then told me that the file has been moved or erased.

So, I went to the root directory on my computer (documents/my chat logs) and sure enough the entire september log was gone under that persons account name.

I should also add that at the time this happened I had deleted the person from my contact list, but that should not make a difference right? As it references to a person's log by email address and not their name?

It seems that what happened was that when the person messaged me it tried to store the message in the open log and cudnt write to it...hence wiping it?

Any ideas?

Hey! i have the exact same problem! my chat log was open with the person i was talking to... and the entire file for the month disappeared!

I really want to recover that file...
