Also, in what way does it look like a Plus! toast? it's in the same place? Yeah, it's also in the same place as all Windows notifications and many other applications, as well as being the place where you get lots of pop-ups in your browser(unless you're running a decent browser and ad blocking addon).

Not to mention, the most common thing? You're all Canadian.

Many programs pop things up. Logitech does this. Network Magic does this. HP does this. It's just that Plus! and WLM are ones you see often. (aka, try not to stereotype popups!)

To add, Microsoft's own programs (IE8 and Windows Explorer) don't have icons that AREN'T lined up. Could easily be a coincidence.
