Got new version of messenger but no audio, any ideas?

Can you be more specific?

Audio conversations? Sound alerts? Voice Clips? Emotion sounds?

Do you get any error messages?

apologies, can do webcam can see other users but I cannot get any audio conversations. Did work previously so it maybe a previous windows update that has changed something?
