heyy.
okay, so I have the new msn live, and live plus.
i do know how to format names with [.u] [.c=12] [.b] & etc,
and everybody (including my) name(s) come up on the main page, like, list of contacts.
everyones names, even mine, come up in colour.

(yes sorry i have coloured over some of my friends names etc for privacy reasons)

BUT WHENEVER I SEND A MESSAGE, or recieve one, all the formatting dissapears!

THE WORST PART OF ALL:
my friends say that my name comes up in colour for them!

UGH IM SO ANNOYED, someone please help me soon!

Try reading the following thread:

It's possible that your problem is as a result of some conflicting software

by the way, you don't need to be able to see your name in colour for others to see it (e.g. if I sign into Messenger on my dad's computer or girlfriend's or someone else who doesn't have Plus! as of now) I wouldn't see my name properly but others will

also if what djdannyp suggested isn't the problem you might want to tell us what version of Windows and any other Messenger addons you're using
