Hey guys one of my friends has a problem installing windows live messenger on here pc.

When she downloads it from the website and goes to install the program it says cannot install because it is already installed on the computer when msn live messenger or anything like that is no where to be found on the hard drive or anywhere

Please help

Look in Control Panel > Programs, see if it's on the list. If so, remove.

If it wasn't properly uninstalled then the computer will think it is still installed.

You can use ZapMessenger to remove all Messengers.
