And finally: I was thinking, what if I am wrong? With this script, my friends are supposed to see the song that is playing, right? Like before with windows media player...right?
I am asking this because the description of the script says something about sending the music we are listening to a friend...
You need to read what the script actually does before attempting to use it.
It allows you to change the format of the music in your personal message, as well as the (!WAT) command - which sends the artist and song title to your friends in a conversation ... and many other functions.
Have you opened the configuration yet? If not, you need to do so from the Scripts menu.
You need to select which player you're using from the Main tab, as well as check 'Enable updating your Personal message to your current song' from the PSM tab, etc. ...
ahahahahha! Chris, I am sorry to be laughing. Don't get me wrong, but I am not those guys who don't understand nothing about nothing in computers. LOL. Of course I did all that. That is the basic, man! If you tell me about editing code, now we are talking

Thanks for trying to help me, but i give up. That link didn't showed me nothing useful. I still can't see the music in my messenger. After reading pages and pages, I give up. it's not worth it. I am pissed of with myself for spending so many hours in this and with no results.
bah...
did you edit the code?
messenger plus! > preference & options > General > Scripts
click on Now Playing in the list.
click Edit at the bottom where it says "Developers Only" [Create New] [Edit]
at the top it says "Current Script File:" scroll down to "main.js"
at line 237 in main.js
replace the code with this
code:
setNowPlaying(true, "Music", "{0} {1}", parseSongFormat(player,playerName,format));
and click Save All
SKAI123, this seems very interesting, but FINALLY i solved my problem...And now i don't want to risk nothing.
So, what have I done?
Well, I Started to wonder if it wasn't winamp's fault. I discovered I didn't had the last version, So i updated it. Very anxious to try it, I hit the play and...NO, IT DIDN'T WORKED!
So, my next stage was to try a different player. So, i downloaded Itunes. (and OF COURSE I did the changes in the script configuration..
)Guess what, It worked !!!
iT doesn't work at 100% - sometimes It doesn't work- but I think that is related to the file types of the songs...maybe...
Even so, probably in some days I will uninstall this script because when I am writing, the messenger freezes for 3 or 4 seconds while changing music...
Anyway, guys you were awesome with me! I really hope one of theses days I can do (or try...!) to do something for you!
bye bye!
