Hi!!

First of all, I'd like to thank Patchou for his work and the ability to write your own plug-in rocks!!

Me and my brother are currently working on a very simple winamp plug-in, which let's you control winamp by simply typing /xplay, /xpause, /xnext.
It seems to be working fine!

/xplay

Files has been updated again, it now supports the PublishInfo() function.

Or you can just press the button in winamp . It would be more interessting if you could do "/xplay *song title*" otherwise I don't really see the use of it

That could be possible, I think, but then you have got to type the *song title* with NO mistakes, or the "Jump to" dialog box, should appear

I wouldn't find it handy either, because I have a keyboard with all the options to skip forward, backward, vol up/down, Mute, Etc.
But the idea is good, there are probably lots of people that woudl love it. Plus you're not really finished yet, so who knows what it will be like when it's done.

Most keyboards have those buttons these days. But I find the "Jump to" dialog box a good idea

/xjump currently opens the "Jump to file"dialog box, but you can't continue to use the MSN message box until you've jumped to a file . But the idea of jumping using /xjump *title* is much cooler. I'll try to implement that.

Would it be nice to have some output to the msn message window, so that the person you are talking to can see that you've paused winamp? Or would it be better to have no output at all to the message window?

No output mate it'd just get annoying or make an activation etc etc   Hurry up and finish it so I can get it on the plugin downloads section

Better do no output, I don't think somebody would care what you are doing beside msn

I need someone who can test a little for me. It works fine on my WinXP machine and the Win2k machine of my brother. But another win98 machine ha some troubles.

It also seems to need an dll which came with Borland Builder. But that should not be a problem.

[edit]Problems with the dll are fixed, it now also works fine on the win98 machine. I am now waiting for Wabz with some testing results
It also works with the quicktext functions, so you can just set /xnext on alt+F4 or so, and zap really quick

I'm going to try to make the same kind of plug-in, but this time, for WinAmp 3, but I can't find the API for Winamp 3 So I was wondering, can someone help me, finding an API for Winamp3, so I can make this plug-in, for Winamp 3?

Got some good news to WinAmp3 users
I found a way, of making it possible, but you need the MessageMod Plug-in for Winamp3 to make it work... When the plug-in is done, I shall include this plug-in as well in the package...
