I'm not sure if this would be good enough for you but the only way I know of is changing the layout of the contact list.

Tools> Options> Layout> Other Contacts> Large.

In contact list increase the font size it's possible in Outlook Message with to use the custom Font & custom Font-Size in the message

If you use skinning then it can increase the font size in the contact list, however it's a long process just for increasing the size of the font.

Have you considered increasing the size of all text on your computer?  The text on WLM isn't particularly smaller than the general text used on the computer
