RE: Problems with Plus!
Are you running Windows Live Messenger in compatibility mode? You need to give us more details about the version of Windows, WLM and Plus! and if you have any other software installed for WLM.

Messenger Plus! Live Disappears after restart

Friend,
I use windows live messenger version 14.0.8117.416
I also use the PLUS version 4.84.0.384
to my knowledge, are compatible.

I have no such files of WLM installed on my computer, I checked.

He doesn't mean if the programs are compatible with each other.

Compatibility mode is a way of running programs by tricking them into thinking they're running on an older operating system.  If you do this then it can caused Messenger Plus! Live to stop functioning.

Sorry..

I do not understand.
The WLM already ran on my PC and the PLUS also
so I formated it, and now the PLUS no longer works.

I did not understand well what you said by compatibility, but if it's something with my PC,
The WLM and the PLUS! already ran on my pc.

You want to make sure WLM isn't set to use compatibility mode.

I really wonder why this, lately, is the culprit?!? What source is saying to run it in compatibility mode...

A lot of morons in blogs and portals that told people "Hey, if you wanna still use WLM 8.5 use the compatibility mode so you won't have to upgrade to new wlm 2009 that is annoying and uses a lot of resources ;D!!"

And then, when people upgrade to wlm 2009 they forget to disable the compatibility mode...

We have the same issues in the spanish forums, about 5 or 7 threads by week...
