O.P. No Icon of cam next to pic!
Hello all...

I have installed the BEta on my Windows Vista....but....there is no icon of a webcam next to the profile pic of mine or the other person!!!

And no Icon for a video call either!

Please help me to fix this asap!

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Please note that this has absolutely nothing to do with Messenger Plus! Live.

Windows Live Messenger isn't likely detecting your webcam. Try and run the Audio and Video Setup Wizard if that doesn't work well welcome to the world of installing betas... where things don't work as well as they should...

"One way web cam" function not working!

I've noticed this occuring on and off with the present STABLE release of Messenger, so it isn't an isolated problem with the beta, nor is it a Messenger Plus! Live issue.

Even if it still doesn't show up after  running the Audio/Video Wizard you can use the "Video Call" button on the toolbar to start a video call as there is now no one-way webcamming.
