O.P. event monitor doesn't have date column (sorting)

hi, i need to sort the event monitor chronologically, how do i do that if i can't see the date only the time?

The Event Viewer is already in chronological order. The newest, by default, is at the bottom.

If you'd like more details about each event, hover over it and it'll display the date and other info.

thanks chris4, i'd still like to see the date, it makes for easier finding of an event on a specific day rather than wait for the tooltip to appear.
