O.P. RE: MSN Live Messenger Error
Although following chris4's original instructions works,  I have found that it is not a permanate solution. Now I everytime MSN crashes I simply go into the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\PerPassportSettings) and remove the "UTL" string. It then will start and let me sign in. Very frustrating.
