i dont think this would be hard to do and it would be nice
what i wanted on my msn-plus is to only have certain groups make sounds and notify when they come online..
so i turned off:
"play a sound when contacts sign in or send a message"
and "display alerts when contacts come online"
and then on Messenger Plus.. i turned on the option to display sounds when contacts come online.. and only chose those in certain groups
it works but there are discrepancies:
i had to set online notifications for each individual person.. not just the group.. and more importantly... now it doesnt play a sound or notify me when someone messages me
so anyway this is all i would like to see...
when msn sounds r turned off.. have an option that says "play a sound and notification when someone sends me a message" (the problem is msn doesnt separate this event from the event sounds/notify when ppl come online)
and... being able to choose notifications for whole groups...
i dunno.. maybe im rambling too much and no one will understand this message.. but thx if u do
