Messenger Plus! 3 sounds

Can someone please help?! I have just donwloaded Messenger Plus! 3 because some friends recommended it especially the new sounds that can be downloaded. However when I tried to download some of my own I got this error message : "An error occured while contacting the server, please try later. If the problem persists, check your security settings." Now I have had this message everytime I try. I am unsure what security settings I should be setting and changing. I have Norton Internet Security 2005. Please can someone help. Thanks. (Y)
