O.P. Which Software Firewall?

I want to change my software firewall. I have been using ZoneAlarm and is actually quite satisfied about it, but I just want to give other softwares a chance

From what I've seen in various places, here are two candidates: Kerio (Limited-free or Full Edition) and Sygate. Which one is better?

I know some of you may say that a hardware firewall such as Router may serve better purpose but for some reason I can't have it now

Of course, if you think ZoneAlarm still surpasses Kerio or Sygate, or have other recommendation... tell me
