ok i have the tabs set to left side instead of top cause then you can show more without making the window super wide. now my problem is that when its a single conversation the window size if fine and i can resize it to the size i want it but then when i add another conversation the window gets really wide. im not talking the tabbed part either cause that id expect to be added but the conversation window size increases and i cant size it down to the size i want anymore.

see how the conversation window is a lot wider than it was before. i just want the tab bar to be added on the side not for it to widen the conversation window as well

but it has happened ever since tabbed chat was added and whatever version msn was newest when it came out too.
