I just found this site, some of the designs are really impressive. It gives some standard advice, and there's a limited amount of photos as well.
Now, the best idea that I saw on this site was the
flaming pumpkin, using kerosene-soaked TP. It claimed a half hour of 3 foot flames, and there's a video of it being lit and running
