Okay, so I had this idea, which I thought might be nice.
What would happen, is you people would "sign up", and then, in a few days, when there are enough people, I would assign people into pairs. I would PM everyone and tell them who their partner is, and then you'd have the time up until Christmas Eve to do something for your chosen person. This could be a graphical image, could take a photo, write something, or perhaps send something if you are comfortable with giving your address to me to pass onto the person who wants to send something.
Once you'd done this, you would submit whatever you want for your chosen person to me, via PM or e-mail. I would then distribute them to the people, obviously, to keep it secret. Then your chosen person would have to guess who actually made/wrote/whatever them something.
To keep it simple to guess, because I know you don't want to use your brains too much around christmas
, I would suggest you "hint" at who you are in whatever you put, say, I would draw a little lobster in the corner, or I would vector something.
I think this is all I'm gunna put for now, can't think of anything else. Any questions - ask me. Otherwise, if you like the idea, sign up! I'll probably end signing up on the 8th or 9th.

And also! If you are signing up, it would be nice if you took the time to just write down a couple of things you like in this thread with your reply.

Your partner will be completely random, unless, you have a specific person in the list who you do not want to be paired up to, and a good reason why.
Obviously this isn't just about you recieving something, it's about you giving something, so don't make something half-assed then think "yeah, I'll get something better back
".
In your post, please put whether or not you would want any physical mail or not.(happy now NiteMare?)
If you want to submit your thing before christmas eve, then it's fine, but I'll most likely distribute them all on christmas eve, so, yeah, that'll probably be the deadline for getting things in,
unless it's physical mail, which you would have to send yourself before that time, but remember not to sign your name, just put "your secret santa" or something.
This is gunna sound nasty, BUT! If you have been here for less than a month, or are an incredibly rare poster, I'd say that you can't participate. I'm not saying it to be nasty, I'm just thinking that people may not know you, be unwilling to do something for you, etc. No offense meant, and don't feel bad!
