O.P. Cannot see what is being typed in window
Trying to solve a friends problem where whatever is typed by contact will not show up in the chat window pane.
we can see the little message that states person "is typing" but the actual typed words do not appear. Even if you highlight all the words in the pane with the cursor there is no words to hiighlight. (I thought at first it was a font colour that was the same as the background)
Tried all I can think about including;
removing and reinstalling live messenger multiple times
disabling all active x's running in ie explorer
disabling virus scanner (AVG free version)
shutting down other programs running in background
resetting evrything I could find to their default settings (encase my friend somehow clicked something they shouldn't have)
tried changing various settings within messenger
Tried many more things to list or even remeber.
It is working perfectly except just cannot see what my contacts are typing when the hit enter and send. And it is with all of my contacts.
Any ideas on what is going on or what to try to isolate and fix this issue is appreciated.
