O.P. Can't See Certain Contacts and They Can't See Me Either
A couple of months ago back in April, my old e-mail account got hacked by a spambot and seeing as how I didn't have any way to get it back I just decided "Oh what the Hell, it was old and I've been meaning to get a new one anyway." and I just made a new e-mail.
Problem is, several of my contacts can't see me and I can't see them. Nor can we communicate with each other unless one of our mutual friends puts us in a group conversation together. The problem has been driving me nuts, especially since as my luck would have it, the people I can't communicate with are some of my closest friends. I've seen problems similar to this, but the other person could at least see that they were online. At first I thought it was just a problem with my computer or something so I logged into messenger on my other computer but I was still having the same problem. I've also logged into web messengers and that didn't work either. I've tried re-installing messenger too.
Any answers as to what could be causing this would be very much appreciated.
