I was cheeky enough to get away with it even on the virgin train from London to Stoke-on-Trent! Saved a nice load there!
Don't bother sending the form off to the company your gift is a 128MB USB stick or a notebook (as in paper and pen!) and if you've not been marking down each train journey or you've been cheeky they could charge you the extra's. not worth it for the gift tbh
